Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on PEX10 recombinant protein is anchored in the understanding of peroxisomes, which are vital organelles in eukaryotic cells responsible for various biochemical processes, including lipid metabolism and the degradation of reactive oxygen species. PEX10 is a peroxins protein critical for peroxisome biogenesis and function, playing a pivotal role in the import of matrix proteins into peroxisomes. Defects in PEX10 are associated with peroxisomal biogenesis disorders, such as Zellweger syndrome, leading to significant developmental and metabolic issues. Given the complexity of peroxisomal functions and the implications of PEX10 mutations on human health, there is a growing interest in studying this protein at a molecular level. Recombinant PEX10 offers a valuable tool for insights into its biological roles, mechanisms of protein import, and interactions with other peroxins. This research is essential not only for understanding fundamental cellular processes but also for developing potential therapeutic approaches for disorders linked to peroxisomal dysfunctions. As such, scientists are focused on characterizing the structural and functional properties of PEX10, exploring its role in peroxisome dynamics, and leveraging recombinant techniques to facilitate further studies in cellular biochemistry and metabolic disorders.
