Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PRKACa, or Protein Kinase A Catalytic Subunit Alpha, plays a critical role in various cellular signaling pathways, primarily involving the regulation of metabolism, gene expression, and cell growth. As a key component of the Protein Kinase A (PKA) signaling cascade, PRKACa is activated by cyclic AMP (cAMP) and subsequently phosphorylates target proteins to modulate their activity. Abnormalities in PRKACa function and regulation have been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions. Research on PRKACa recombinant proteins aims to provide insights into its enzymatic mechanisms and biological effects, facilitating the identification of potential therapeutic targets. The generation of PRKACa recombinant proteins allows for detailed studies of its structure-function relationships, substrate specificity, and regulatory mechanisms. Furthermore, understanding the role of PRKACa in various physiological and pathological contexts is essential for developing novel therapeutic strategies to manipulate PKA signaling pathways, thereby offering potential interventions in diseases where PKA signaling is dysregulated. Such studies not only enhance our knowledge of fundamental cellular processes but also pave the way for innovative approaches in drug discovery and disease management.
