Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UQCRH (Ubiquinol-Cytochrome c Reductase Hepatic) is a vital component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, playing a crucial role in energy metabolism and cellular respiration. It is known to participate in the electron transport chain, facilitating the transfer of electrons from ubiquinol to cytochrome c, thereby contributing to ATP production. Research into UQCRH has gained prominence due to its association with various metabolic disorders and its potential implications in diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative conditions. Understanding the structure and function of recombinantly expressed UQCRH proteins allows scientists to explore their biochemical properties, interaction with other mitochondrial proteins, and role in oxidative stress responses. The study of UQCRH also provides insights into the mechanisms underlying mitochondrial dysfunction, which has been linked to aging and a myriad of pathologies. As such, the recombinant expression of UQCRH is a significant focus for drug discovery and therapeutic strategies aimed at enhancing mitochondrial function and combating diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.
