Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UNC119B is a protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of various cellular processes, particularly in the context of neuronal function and the development of the nervous system. It is a member of the UNC119 family of proteins, which are known to bind to lipidated proteins and are involved in protein trafficking, signaling pathways, and cellular homeostasis. Research has indicated that UNC119B may be important in the formation and maintenance of synapses, as well as in the transport of the G-protein coupled receptors within neurons. The study of UNC119B has gained traction due to its potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders, where dysregulation of neuronal signaling is often observed. Moreover, the reconstitution of UNC119B as a recombinant protein allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical studies, facilitating the understanding of its interactions with other cellular components. Such studies aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which UNC119B operates in cellular contexts, providing insights into its functional roles and therapeutic potentials. By exploring the structure-function relationships of UNC119B, researchers hope to develop targeted strategies for modulating its activity in conditions where its function is compromised. Through this research, scientists aim to pave the way for novel interventions in conditions linked to neuronal dysfunction, highlighting the significance of UNC119B in both basic and applied biological research.
