  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PDXDC1, or PDX domain-containing protein 1, is a relatively novel protein that has gained attention in molecular biology for its potential roles in various cellular processes. Research has indicated that PDXDC1 may be involved in the regulation of metabolic pathways, particularly those associated with purine biosynthesis and nucleotide metabolism. The protein exhibits a unique domain structure that suggests it may interact with other cellular machineries, thus impacting gene expression and cellular response to stress. Current studies focus on understanding the functional mechanisms of PDXDC1 through recombinant protein technology, allowing scientists to produce and analyze this protein in vitro. By generating recombinant PDXDC1, researchers aim to elucidate its biochemical properties, structural characteristics, and interaction networks. Understanding the function of PDXDC1 is crucial, as it could provide insights into its implications in developmental processes and diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders. Investigating the role of this protein may also reveal novel therapeutic targets, making it a significant area of study in health and disease. Overall, the research on PDXDC1 and its recombinant form is pivotal for expanding our knowledge of cell biology and developing potential biomedical applications.
