Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASTN2 (Astrotactin 2) is a protein that plays a crucial role in neurodevelopment and neuronal migration. It is primarily expressed in the central nervous system and is thought to be involved in the guidance of neurons during brain development. Research has indicated that mutations or dysregulations in the ASTN2 gene are associated with various neurodevelopmental disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders. As a result, understanding the structure and function of ASTN2 has become a significant focus in neuroscience. Recombinant ASTN2 proteins are utilized in various studies to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying neuronal migration and to investigate how alterations in this protein contribute to neurodevelopmental disorders. By producing and analyzing ASTN2 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to uncover its interactions with other cellular components and to explore its potential as a target for therapeutic interventions. This research not only enhances our understanding of brain development but also paves the way for developing strategies to address neurodevelopmental conditions linked to ASTN2 dysfunction. As such, the study of ASTN2 recombinant proteins stands at the intersection of molecular biology, neurobiology, and clinical research, highlighting its significance in advancing our knowledge of complex neurological phenomena.
