Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PAP (Prostatic Acid Phosphatase) is an enzyme primarily produced in the prostate, with significant implications in prostate cancer research and diagnosis. Historically, PAP has been emphasized for its role as a biomarker in prostate cancer, as elevated levels of the enzyme are often associated with disease progression and metastasis. Researchers have sought to better understand the structure and function of PAP, leading to the development of recombinant forms of the protein that can be used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Recombinant PAP is produced using recombinant DNA technology, which allows for the mass production of the protein with high purity and activity. This advancement has paved the way for innovative approaches in both immunotherapy and vaccine development against prostate cancer. Additionally, studies have shown that PAP has potential as an antigen for cancer vaccines, prompting investigations into its use in therapeutic settings. Overall, the research surrounding PAP and its recombinant forms reflects a broad interest in improving prostate cancer diagnostics and treatment strategies, driving significant advancements in the field of oncology.
