Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASCC2 (Adaptable Signal-regulating Complex Subunit 2) is a key member of the ASCC (ABCE1-SF3B1-CCDC54) complex, which is involved in cellular responses to DNA damage and the maintenance of genomic stability. Research into ASCC2 has gained momentum due to its critical role in regulating DNA repair mechanisms, particularly in the context of determining cellular sensitivity to various chemotherapeutic agents. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks via homologous recombination and non-homologous end joining pathways. Given its essential functions in cancer biology, ASCC2 has emerged as a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Investigators are particularly interested in how ASCC2 is regulated by post-translational modifications and protein interactions during DNA damage responses. Moreover, aberrations in ASCC2 expression have been linked to tumorigenesis and the development of drug resistance in several cancer types. Consequently, generating recombinant ASCC2 protein is crucial for advancing our understanding of its biochemical properties, structure-function relationships, and interactions with other proteins involved in DNA repair. This foundational research not only clarifies ASCC2's biological roles but also paves the way for the development of novel strategies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of existing cancer treatments through targeted modulation of its function.
