Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ASAP1, or Activate Signal Cointegrator 1, is a protein that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cell adhesion, and cytoskeletal organization. The study of ASAP1 has gained attention due to its involvement in cancer biology, particularly in promoting cell migration and invasion, which are key characteristics of metastatic cancer cells. Research has indicated that ASAP1 interacts with several key signaling pathways, influencing tumor progression and metastasis. Furthermore, mutations and altered expression levels of ASAP1 have been linked to various cancer types, making it a potential biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant production of ASAP1 is essential for elucidating its biochemical properties and understanding its functional mechanisms. By generating and characterizing ASAP1 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to uncover the molecular interactions that govern its activity and explore its potential as a therapeutic target. Such studies could lead to novel strategies for cancer treatment by inhibiting the pathways driven by ASAP1, thereby impeding tumor growth and spread. The ongoing research in this area not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of ASAP1's role in cell biology but also opens avenues for developing innovative cancer therapies that leverage the unique properties of this protein.
