Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PDE4C, or phosphodiesterase 4C, is an important member of the phosphodiesterase family that hydrolyzes cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), playing a crucial role in various cellular signaling pathways. Dysregulation of PDE4C has been implicated in a range of diseases, including respiratory disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory conditions, making it a promising target for therapeutic interventions. The study of recombinant PDE4C proteins has gained significant attention as researchers aim to understand the enzyme's structure-function relationships and its role in cellular processes. By producing PDE4C as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity, localization, and interaction with other cellular molecules in a controlled environment. This research is vital for the development of selective PDE4 inhibitors that could potentially provide benefits in treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and other related conditions. Furthermore, insights gained from recombinant PDE4C studies may aid in uncovering novel regulatory mechanisms within cAMP signaling pathways, ultimately contributing to the broader understanding of cell signaling and its implications in health and disease.
