  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The study of PCQAP (Prostate Cancer Q Associated Protein) recombinant proteins has gained significant interest due to their potential implications in cancer research, particularly prostate cancer. PCQAP is implicated in various cellular processes, including transcription regulation and DNA damage response, making it a critical candidate for understanding tumorigenesis and cancer progression. The expression of PCQAP is frequently altered in cancer tissues, hinting at its role in tumor biology and potential as a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant production of PCQAP allows researchers to analyze its structure and function in detail, facilitating the exploration of its interactions with other proteins and cellular pathways. Furthermore, studying the biochemical properties of PCQAP can lead to the identification of novel therapeutic targets. Moreover, recombinant proteins serve as essential tools for developing antibodies and assays that can measure PCQAP levels in clinical specimens. As ongoing research continues to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying prostate cancer, the characterization of PCQAP through recombinant techniques may provide valuable insights into its role in malignancy and drive the discovery of innovative treatment strategies.
