Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCSK1N, or proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 1 inhibitor, is a crucial protein implicated in the regulation of hormone processing and neuropeptide maturation. Its significance is underscored by its role in modulating the activity of proprotein convertases, which are responsible for activating various peptides and proteins, including several hormones involved in metabolic and neurological functions. Abnormalities in PCSK1N expression or function have been linked to a range of metabolic disorders, obesity, and certain neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting the need for understanding its underlying mechanisms. Recent studies have focused on the development of recombinant PCSK1N proteins to facilitate in-depth research into its structure-function relationships, interactions with proprotein convertases, and potential therapeutic applications. By producing and characterizing these recombinant proteins, researchers aim to explore the biological pathways influenced by PCSK1N and assess its potential as a target for therapeutic intervention in diseases associated with its dysregulation. The comprehensive analysis of PCSK1N and its functional roles may pave the way for novel strategies in treating metabolic and neurological disorders, underlining the importance of ongoing research in this area.
