Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UBE2G1, a member of the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, which is essential for protein degradation, cell cycle regulation, and various cellular processes. This enzyme is involved in the addition of ubiquitin molecules to target proteins, marking them for degradation, thus maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating protein turnover. Dysregulation of UBE2G1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and inflammatory conditions, making it a significant target for therapeutic investigation. The recombinant expression of UBE2G1 enables the study of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and structural characteristics, thereby providing insights into its biological functions and potential as a drug target. Recent studies have focused on characterizing the post-translational modifications and interactions of UBE2G1 with other cellular proteins, which are crucial for understanding its role in pathological conditions. As research progresses, the development of UBE2G1 inhibitors or modulators may offer novel strategies for novel therapeutic interventions in UBE2G1-related diseases.
