Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHB9 (Protocadherin Beta 9) is a member of the protocadherin family, which are calcium-dependent cell adhesion molecules implicated in various physiological and pathological processes, including neuronal development and function. Research has shown that PCDHB9 plays a crucial role in the formation of synaptic connections in the nervous system, suggesting its potential involvement in neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. Given its specific expression patterns in the brain, understanding the molecular mechanisms and functional roles of PCDHB9 is vital for unraveling the complexities of neural circuit formation and maintenance. The recombinant protein of PCDHB9 is produced to facilitate in-depth studies of its structure, binding interactions, and signaling pathways, enabling researchers to explore its biological significance and potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, this research aims to elucidate how alterations in PCDHB9 expression or function could contribute to various neurological conditions, paving the way for the development of innovative strategies for diagnosis and treatment in the realm of neuroscience.
