Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHGA5, a member of the protocadherin gene family, plays a potential role in neural development and cell-cell interactions in the central nervous system. Research on PCDHGA5 has garnered interest due to its unique structure and expression pattern, particularly in neural tissues, suggesting it may participate in establishing synaptic connections and maintaining neuronal stability. The importance of cell adhesion molecules like PCDHGA5 is underscored by their implications in various neurological disorders, where dysregulation of cell-cell interactions can lead to aberrant neuronal networks. Furthermore, studies have indicated that reconstituted PCDHGA5 proteins can be utilized to explore their molecular mechanisms in vitro, enabling a better understanding of their function in health and disease. Thus, the recombinant expression of PCDHGA5 not only provides insights into its role in normal physiological processes but also holds promise for elucidating its involvement in pathologies such as autism, schizophrenia, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. The investigation of PCDHGA5 through recombinant techniques is crucial for advancing our comprehension of complex cellular interactions and may pave the way for therapeutic interventions targeting its pathway. Overall, the study of PCDHGA5 and its recombinant proteins is essential for advancing our knowledge of both fundamental neuroscience and the development of potential treatments for related disorders.
