Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CDH22, or Cadherin 22, is a member of the cadherin family of proteins, which are critical cell-cell adhesion molecules known to play pivotal roles in various biological processes, including tissue morphogenesis, cellular signaling, and maintaining the integrity of epithelial layers. The study of CDH22 has gained interest as it is primarily expressed in the nervous system and has been implicated in neurological development and functions. Recent research indicates that alterations in cadherin expression, including CDH22, may be associated with neurodevelopmental disorders and certain types of cancer. Recombinant proteins, such as CDH22, are invaluable tools for investigating these cellular mechanisms, enabling researchers to explore their structural properties, interaction dynamics, and functional roles in isolation. The production of CDH22 recombinant proteins allows for controlled experimental conditions, facilitating studies on its adhesive functions, signaling pathways, and potential implications in disease mechanisms. Understanding the molecular characteristics of CDH22 through recombinant protein research could provide insights into its precise functions in neural tissues and its potential as a therapeutic target in neurological disorders and malignancies. Consequently, CDH22 recombinant protein research is crucial for elucidating the cadherin family's roles in health and disease, ultimately contributing to advancements in biomedical sciences and therapeutic strategies.
