Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The ARMC4 (Actin-Related Protein Modulator of Cytoskeleton 4) protein has gained attention in recent years due to its significant role in cellular processes and potential implications in human health and diseases. Originally identified as part of a family of actin-binding proteins, ARMC4 is involved in regulating cellular structures and functions, particularly in cilia assembly and maintenance. Cilia are crucial for cell signaling, motility, and sensory functions, making ARMC4 an important player in various physiological processes. Research indicates that mutations in the ARMC4 gene are linked to ciliopathies, a group of disorders resulting from dysfunctional cilia, which can lead to complications such as respiratory issues, renal defects, and developmental abnormalities. Additionally, the exploration of ARMC4's interactions with other proteins and its influence on cytoskeletal dynamics has unveiled its potential role as a therapeutic target for these ciliopathies and related conditions. Recent studies aim to elucidate the structural and functional characteristics of ARMC4, alongside its involvement in cellular mechanisms, to better understand its contributions to health and disease. This ongoing research into ARMC4 not only expands our knowledge of cytoskeletal regulation but also opens avenues for innovative approaches in the treatment of genetic and developmental disorders associated with cilia dysfunction.
