Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PCDHa9 (Protocadherin Alpha 9) is a member of the protocadherin family, which are important cell adhesion molecules playing crucial roles in neuronal development and synaptic function. The study of PCDHa9 is particularly significant due to its association with processes such as neurogenesis and the establishment of neural circuits. Alterations in PCDHa9 expression have been linked to various neurological disorders, including autism and schizophrenia, suggesting its potential involvement in the pathophysiology of these conditions. The recombinant protein of PCDHa9 is generated for various research purposes, including structural analysis, functional studies, and investigations into its interactions with other neuronal proteins. By producing PCDHa9 as a recombinant protein, researchers can explore its biochemical properties, membrane localization, and role in cellular signaling, contributing to a deeper understanding of its function in the central nervous system. Furthermore, insights gained from the study of PCDHa9 may hold therapeutic implications for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, making it a focus of significant interest in neurobiology and biomedical research. The ongoing examination of PCDHa9's role in neuronal cell adhesion and signaling pathways has the potential to uncover novel therapeutic targets and strategies for interventions in related diseases.
