  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

PBXIP1, or Pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox interacting protein 1, has emerged as a significant focus of research due to its involvement in various biological processes and diseases, particularly in cancer. Originally identified as a protein that interacts with the PBX family of transcription factors, PBXIP1 is thought to play a critical role in regulating gene expression during cell differentiation and development. Studies have shown that PBXIP1 is overexpressed in several types of cancer, including breast and prostate cancer, suggesting it may act as an oncogene. Its dysregulation is believed to contribute to tumor progression and metastasis, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Additionally, PBXIP1 has been implicated in the regulation of apoptosis and cell cycle, further emphasizing its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Current research is focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which PBXIP1 exerts its effects, as well as exploring its potential as a biomarker for early cancer detection and a target for novel treatment strategies. Understanding the functional roles of PBXIP1 in health and disease may pave the way for innovative approaches to cancer therapy and improve patient outcomes.
