Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of PCDHb10, a member of the protocadherin family, has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in neural development and cellular signaling. Protocadherins are a large subfamily of cadherins, which are integral membrane proteins primarily involved in cell adhesion processes. PCDHb10, specifically, is believed to play a pivotal role in the maintenance of neural networks and the establishment of synaptic connections in the nervous system. Dysregulation of protocadherin expression has been linked to various neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. Therefore, understanding the structure and function of PCDHb10 at the molecular level is crucial for elucidating its role in neuronal connectivity and its potential therapeutic applications. The recombinant expression of PCDHb10 provides a valuable model for examining its biochemical properties, interaction partners, and effects on cell behavior. Researchers aim to characterize the protein's functions within the cellular context, including its involvement in cell-cell interactions and signal transduction pathways. The insights gained from these studies may open new avenues for targeted treatments that address the underlying causes of related neurodevelopmental disorders, thereby highlighting the importance of PCDHb10 in both basic neuroscience research and clinical applications.
