Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ARHGAP6, or Rho GTPase-activating protein 6, is a member of the RhoGAP family, which plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of Rho GTPases, key molecular switches involved in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal dynamics, cell migration, and proliferation. Dysregulation of Rho GTPases has been implicated in numerous diseases, such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurological conditions, making the study of ARHGAP6 particularly relevant in the context of these pathologies. Research has shown that ARHGAP6 is involved in modulating signaling pathways that influence cell adhesion and movement, thereby contributing to the understanding of metastasis in cancer. Additionally, ARHGAP6 has been linked to noise-induced hearing loss, highlighting its importance in sensory systems. The recombinant expression of ARHGAP6 allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, enabling scientists to investigate its interactions and functional mechanisms further. By studying its structure and activity, researchers aim to uncover potential therapeutic targets that could modulate ARHGAP6's function in disease contexts, providing insights into novel treatment strategies for conditions associated with Rho GTPase dysregulation. This study of ARHGAP6 not only advances our understanding of fundamental cellular processes but also opens avenues for therapeutic interventions in various diseases where Rho GTPases play a critical role.
