Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TOM1L2 is a member of the TOM (targeting of mitochondria) family of proteins that plays a crucial role in mitochondrial biogenesis and function. Recent research has highlighted its significance in cellular energy metabolism and the maintenance of mitochondrial integrity. Studies have shown that TOM1L2 is involved in the import of mitochondrial proteins, which is essential for the proper functioning of mitochondria, often referred to as the powerhouse of the cell. Dysregulation of TOM1L2 has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes, underscoring its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying TOM1L2 function can provide insights into mitochondrial dynamics and their implications in health and disease. The growing interest in TOM1L2 has led to the investigation of its structural properties, interaction partners, and role in cellular stress responses, paving the way for future studies that may leverage TOM1L2 for therapeutic advancements in mitochondrial-related diseases.
