Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CNTNAP3 (Contactin-Associated Protein 3) is a member of the neurexin superfamily, which plays a crucial role in the formation and maintenance of neuronal connections. It is predominantly expressed in the nervous system, where it is involved in axon-glial interactions and the establishment of the nodes of Ranvier. Recent studies have suggested that CNTNAP3 may be linked to various neurological disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia, indicating its potential importance in both neural development and pathology. Research into CNTNAP3 recombinant protein focuses on elucidating its functional mechanisms, interactions with other synaptic proteins, and potential roles in disease. By producing CNTNAP3 in a recombinant form, scientists can study its properties and structure in controlled conditions, leading to insights into its biological functions and potential therapeutic targets. Understanding CNTNAP3 can aid in the development of strategies to address neurological disorders, making it a critical subject of investigation in neurobiology.
