  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

APBB1, or amyloid beta precursor protein-binding family B member 1, is a protein that has drawn significant attention in neuroscience and molecular biology due to its involvement in Alzheimer's disease pathology. This protein is known to interact with amyloid precursor protein (APP) and is implicated in the processes of neuronal signaling and cellular development. Its role in the modulation of amyloid-beta production suggests that APBB1 could be a critical player in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's, where the accumulation of amyloid-beta plaques is a hallmark feature. Research on APBB1 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its structure, function, and potential as a therapeutic target. By producing recombinant APBB1, scientists hope to better understand its interactions at the molecular level, investigate its biological pathways, and explore its potential involvement in neuroprotection or neurodegeneration. Furthermore, understanding the dynamics of APBB1 could lead to novel strategies for intercepting the progression of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. Given the increasing prevalence of these conditions, advancing our comprehension of APBB1 through recombinant protein studies is crucial for the development of targeted therapeutic approaches.
