Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
APBA1, or Amyloid Precursor Protein-Binding Protein 1, is a crucial protein that participates in various cellular processes, including synaptic function, protein trafficking, and the cellular response to stress. Research into APBA1 has garnered significant attention due to its association with neurodegenerative disorders, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, where it may influence the processing of amyloid precursor proteins and the formation of amyloid plaques. Mutations and alterations in the expression of APBA1 have been implicated in cognitive decline and neuronal dysfunction, making it a valuable target for therapeutic interventions and diagnostic biomarkers. Previous studies have suggested that APBA1 interacts with multiple signaling pathways and other proteins, highlighting its role in maintaining neuronal health and function. Investigating the recombinant forms of APBA1 can provide insights into its structural characteristics and functional roles, facilitating a deeper understanding of its involvement in neurological diseases. This research could pave the way for potential therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating APBA1 activity, ultimately contributing to the management of Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions. Thus, the recombinant protein study of APBA1 signifies a pivotal step towards elucidating its mechanistic role in neurobiology and pathology, offering a promising avenue for future research and clinical applications.
