Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STAG3 is a member of the SMC (Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes) protein family, which plays a crucial role in the organization and segregation of chromosomes during cell division, particularly in meiosis. Research on STAG3 has gained significant interest due to its essential function in maintaining genetic stability and its involvement in homologous chromosome pairing and recombination. It is localized in the cohesin complex, which ensures sister chromatid cohesion and proper chromosomal alignment. Mutations in the STAG3 gene have been linked to various reproductive disorders, including infertility and certain types of cancers, highlighting its importance in human health. Understanding the structure and function of STAG3 can provide insights into the mechanisms governing meiotic division and can help identify potential therapeutic targets for diseases associated with chromosomal instabilities. Recent advancements in biochemistry and molecular biology techniques have facilitated the study of STAG3 recombinant proteins, leading to a better understanding of its interactions with other cellular components and its role in the meiotic process. This research is crucial for the development of strategies aimed at addressing male fertility issues and understanding the underlying causes of certain genetic diseases.
