稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR8A1 is a member of the olfactory receptor gene family, which plays a crucial role in the perception of odorant molecules. As a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), OR8A1 is expressed in sensory neurons of the olfactory epithelium and is involved in the transduction of odor signals to the brain, thereby influencing smell perception and behavior. Research on OR8A1 and its recombinant proteins is essential for understanding the molecular mechanisms of olfaction, as well as the functional roles of specific receptors in recognizing diverse odorant structures. Given the substantial genetic variability among olfactory receptor genes, studying the recombinant OR8A1 protein allows scientists to elucidate the structure-activity relationship of this receptor and its interactions with various odorants. Moreover, OR8A1 has been implicated in certain physiological processes and potential implications in neurodegenerative diseases and conditions affecting the olfactory system. Ultimately, investigating recombinant OR8A1 not only provides insights into fundamental sensory biology but also holds potential applications in developing olfactory-related therapies and enhancing fragrance industry products.
