Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR6F1 is a member of the olfactory receptor gene family, which plays a crucial role in the sensory perception of smell. Recent studies have indicated that OR6F1 may also be involved in non-olfactory functions, potentially influencing various physiological and pathological processes. Given its intriguing characteristics and the wide distribution of olfactory receptors beyond traditional sensory roles, the recombinant OR6F1 protein has gained attention as a subject of research. Understanding the recombinant expression and functional properties of OR6F1 could provide valuable insights into its role in human health and disease. The study of this protein involves exploring its structure, interactions, and potential applications in therapeutic contexts, such as drug discovery and biomarker development. Additionally, OR6F1's unique expression patterns in various tissues encourage investigations into its involvement in specific cellular mechanisms and its contribution to complex biological systems. Overall, the research on OR6F1 recombinant protein not only enhances our knowledge of olfactory receptors but also opens up new avenues for understanding their diverse functions in human physiology.
