Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CEL (carboxyl-ester-lipase) is an important enzyme belonging to the serine hydrolase family, primarily involved in lipid metabolism and digestion. Its ability to hydrolyze ester bonds makes it a valuable target for research in various fields, including biochemistry, pharmacology, and biotechnology. Given its role in fat digestion, understanding CEL's structure and function has implications for tackling metabolic disorders such as obesity and diabetes. Additionally, CEL has potential applications in biocatalysis, where it can be utilized in organic synthesis and the production of biofuels and pharmaceuticals. The study of CEL recombinant proteins involves engineering the gene encoding for this enzyme, allowing for large-scale production in microbial systems, such as E. coli or yeast. By utilizing recombinant DNA technology, researchers can produce active forms of CEL, analyze its enzymatic properties, and explore its interaction with different substrates. This research not only enhances our understanding of CEL's biochemical characteristics but also paves the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies and industrial applications. Through various mutagenesis and characterization approaches, scientists are able to optimize the enzyme's activity and stability, making CEL a focal point for innovative research in enzyme engineering and biotechnology. Overall, CEL recombinant protein research presents significant potential for advancing both scientific knowledge and practical applications in health and industry.
