Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interferon alpha 9 (IFNa9) is a member of the type I interferon family, which plays a crucial role in the immune response against viral infections and tumor development. This recombinant protein has gained attention due to its potential therapeutic applications in various diseases, including viral hepatitis, certain malignancies, and autoimmune disorders. Research on IFNa9 highlights its unique antiviral and antiproliferative properties, as well as its ability to modulate the immune system through the activation of signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) pathways. Compared to other interferons, IFNa9 exhibits a specific receptor interaction that may enhance its efficacy and reduce side effects in clinical applications. Recent studies have focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying its action, optimizing production methods for recombinant proteins, and exploring its potential synergistic effects when combined with other therapeutic agents. These investigations are crucial for advancing our understanding of IFNa9's role in immunotherapy and could pave the way for novel treatment strategies that harness its protective effects against viral infections and tumors. As research progresses, IFNa9 holds promise as a valuable tool in the fight against various diseases, necessitating further exploration into its mechanisms, safety, and clinical effectiveness.
