Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALOX15B, a member of the arachidonate lipoxygenase (ALOX) family, is primarily expressed in immune cells and plays a crucial role in the metabolism of polyunsaturated fatty acids, particularly the oxygenation of arachidonic acid to produce bioactive lipid mediators. These mediators are vital in various physiological processes, including inflammation and immune response. Dysregulation of ALOX15B has been linked to several inflammatory diseases and conditions, making it an important target for research. The recombinant expression of ALOX15B allows for detailed functional studies and structural analyses, which can elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms and interactions with substrates. Understanding the role of ALOX15B in cellular processes can provide insights into its potential for therapeutic targeting in diseases such as asthma, arthritis, and cancer. The development of recombinant ALOX15B can also facilitate high-throughput screening for inhibitors or activators, advancing drug discovery efforts related to lipid metabolism and inflammatory disorders. In summary, ALOX15B's role in lipid signaling and inflammation makes it a significant focus in biochemical research, and the study of its recombinant form is essential for unraveling its biological functions and therapeutic potentials.
