Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ALG3 is a crucial enzyme involved in the process of N-glycosylation, which is essential for proper protein folding and function. Specifically, ALG3 catalyzes the transfer of specific sugar residues to nascent glycoproteins in the endoplasmic reticulum, playing a pivotal role in synthesizing the oligosaccharide precursor necessary for subsequent glycan processing. Dysregulation of ALG3 activity has been associated with various congenital disorders, highlighting its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have focused on the structural and functional characterization of ALG3 to better understand its enzymatic mechanism and its role in pathophysiological conditions. Employing techniques such as X-ray crystallography and site-directed mutagenesis, researchers aim to elucidate the enzyme's active sites and substrate specificity. Furthermore, the exploration of ALG3 in the context of therapeutic interventions for glycosylation disorders has garnered interest, as increasing our understanding of this enzyme could lead to the development of novel treatment strategies. As such, the study of recombinant ALG3 protein not only enhances our comprehension of glycosylation pathways but also opens avenues for potential biomedical applications, including drug design and personalized medicine.
