Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COPb1, or Coat Protein Complex I, is a critical component of the cellular machinery responsible for the trafficking of proteins between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. As a member of the coat protein complexes, COPb1 plays a pivotal role in vesicle formation, determining the specificity of the cargo transported within the cell. Research into COPb1 and its recombinant variants has gained significant attention due to its implications in various biological processes, such as cellular signaling, membrane dynamics, and recycling pathways. Dysregulation of COPb1 has been implicated in several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer, where altered protein trafficking can lead to cellular dysfunction. The study of recombinant COPb1 proteins facilitates a better understanding of these pathways and their contribution to pathophysiology. Furthermore, advanced techniques in protein engineering and expression systems have enabled the production of COPb1 in sufficient quantities for structural and functional analyses, allowing researchers to explore its interactions with other cellular components. Through these investigations, COPb1 is not only characterized as a fundamental element in the secretory pathway but also as a potential target for therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring normal protein trafficking, thus contributing to the development of novel treatment strategies for related diseases.
