稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PANX2 (Pannexin 2) is an important member of the pannexin family of channel-forming proteins, which are known to play crucial roles in various physiological and pathological processes. This protein is primarily expressed in the central nervous system and has been implicated in neuronal signaling, synaptic transmission, and potentially in neurodegenerative diseases. Research has shown that PANX2 may be involved in processes such as apoptosis, inflammation, and cellular communication through the release of signaling molecules. Given its diverse functions, understanding the structure and functionality of PANX2 is essential for uncovering its role in health and disease. The generation of recombinant PANX2 proteins facilitates a detailed investigation into its biophysical properties, channel activity, and interaction with other cellular components. Additionally, studies utilizing PANX2 knockouts or overexpression systems can provide insights into its specific contributions to neurobiology and associated disorders. Thus, the research of recombinant PANX2 proteins not only enhances our understanding of its molecular mechanisms but may also pave the way for novel therapeutic targets in conditions linked to pannexin dysregulation.
