Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR2T4 is a member of the olfactory receptor family, which is known for its role in the detection of volatile compounds and playing a significant part in the sense of smell. The study of OR2T4 and its recombinant protein is of considerable interest due to its potential implications in understanding olfactory mechanisms and its involvement in various physiological processes. Research has shown that OR2T4 is activated by specific odorants, which can influence behavioral responses in both humans and animals. Moreover, the dysfunction of olfactory receptors, including OR2T4, has been associated with several neurodegenerative diseases and metabolic disorders. Thus, investigating the recombinant OR2T4 protein could provide insights into the structure-function relationship of olfactory receptors and their signaling pathways. Furthermore, the development of recombinant OR2T4 may aid in the creation of novel therapeutic approaches for olfactory dysfunction and enhance our understanding of the relationship between olfaction and overall health. Given the growing interest in the interplay between sensory perception and human behavior, the exploration of OR2T4 represents a valuable area of research that could contribute to advancements in both basic and applied sciences.
