Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The STK17A protein, also known as Serine/Threonine Kinase 17A, is a member of the mammalian sterile 20-like kinase family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including apoptosis, cell proliferation, and stress response. Research into STK17A has gained traction due to its implications in cancer biology and neurodegenerative diseases. Aberrant regulation of STK17A expression has been observed in several malignancies, suggesting its potential as a biomarker for cancer progression or a therapeutic target. Furthermore, STK17A is implicated in the regulation of autophagy, a critical mechanism for cellular homeostasis and survival under stress conditions. Understanding the biochemical properties and functional mechanisms of STK17A through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its role in disease pathways. Advances in protein expression technology have enabled the production of high-quality recombinant STK17A, allowing researchers to dissect its signaling pathways and interactions with other cellular components. Overall, the study of STK17A, through recombinant protein research, holds promise for uncovering new therapeutic strategies and enhancing our knowledge of its contributions to human health and disease.
