稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
OR2K2, a member of the olfactory receptor gene family, has recently garnered attention for its potential roles in various biological processes beyond olfaction, including its implications in cancer biology and neurodegenerative diseases. Despite being predominantly studied for its function in the odorant detection pathway, emerging evidence suggests that OR2K2 may exhibit regulatory roles in cell proliferation and differentiation. The protein encoded by OR2K2 is expressed in various tissues, including the brain, where it may influence neural signaling pathways. Furthermore, its unique structure and signaling mechanism could provide insights into the broader family of G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), which are critical targets in pharmacology. The study of OR2K2 recombinant proteins, therefore, not only aims to elucidate its biological functions but also paves the way for novel therapeutic approaches, particularly in pathologies associated with dysregulated olfactory signaling. As such, ongoing research is focused on the characterization of OR2K2 through recombinant expression systems, investigating its ligand interactions, and understanding the downstream signaling cascades activated by this receptor, all of which are essential for uncovering its potential roles in health and disease.
