Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AGBL5 (artemisinic acid glucosyltransferase-like 5) is a member of the alpha/beta hydrolase enzyme family, known to play a critical role in various biological processes, including the regulation of cellular metabolism and protein degradation. Recent studies have highlighted its involvement in cellular stress responses and its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by protein misfolding and aggregation, such as neurodegenerative disorders. The interest in AGBL5 has surged due to its unique enzymatic properties, which allow it to hydrolyze polyglutamylated proteins, thus influencing their stability and function. Researchers have been exploring the structural and functional characteristics of AGBL5, aiming to elucidate its role in cellular homeostasis and to develop recombinant proteins for in-depth studies. The recombinant form of AGBL5 enables detailed biochemical assays, facilitating the understanding of its interaction with substrates and inhibitors. Furthermore, understanding AGBL5's mechanisms can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting protein aggregation and related pathologies. Overall, the study of AGBL5 recombinant protein presents a promising avenue for advancing our knowledge of cellular regulation and developing potential interventions for various diseases linked to protein dysregulation.
