Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
INSM2 (Insulinoma-Associated Protein 2) is a transcription factor primarily involved in neuroendocrine differentiation and function. Research into recombinant INSM2 protein has gained momentum due to its potential roles in neuroendocrine tumors, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders. Elevated INSM2 expression is often observed in neuroendocrine tumors such as insulinomas and carcinoids, suggesting its importance as a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant form of INSM2 allows researchers to investigate its molecular mechanisms, interactions with other proteins, and effects in cellular contexts. Furthermore, understanding the structure-function relationship of INSM2 through recombinant protein studies can uncover its role in cellular signaling pathways and potential therapeutic applications. Given the increasing incidence of neuroendocrine tumors and the need for novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, the study of INSM2 is critical. This research not only enhances our understanding of tumor biology but also opens avenues for targeted therapies that could improve treatment outcomes for patients with neuroendocrine cancers. Additionally, the exploration of INSM2 in other contexts, such as metabolic regulation, further underscores its significance in biomedical research. Thus, investigations into the recombinant INSM2 protein are vital for elucidating its multifaceted roles in health and disease.
