Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PACS2 (Phosphofurin Acidic Cluster Sorting Protein 2) is a relatively understudied member of the PACS protein family, which plays critical roles in intracellular trafficking and protein sorting within the endosomal and Golgi networks. Research into PACS2 has gained traction due to its potential implications in various biological processes, including cell signaling, apoptosis, and neuronal development. Abnormalities in PACS2 expression or function have been linked to several neurodegenerative diseases and certain cancers, highlighting its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Recent studies have focused on characterizing PACS2’s interaction with specific binding partners and elucidating its role in endocytic pathways, stressing its importance in proper protein localization and function. Moreover, the development of PACS2 recombinant proteins has enabled researchers to further investigate its biochemical properties, interactions, and functional roles within cellular systems. Such research is pivotal for understanding not only the fundamental biology of PACS2 but also its potential as a therapeutic target in diseases where its regulation is disrupted. As the understanding of PACS2 continues to grow, it holds promise for elucidating novel pathways in cellular transport and disease mechanisms, thus paving the way for innovative strategies in biomedical research and therapeutic development.
