Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPRR2A (Small Proline-Rich Protein 2A) is a member of the small proline-rich proteins family, which are primarily involved in the structural and functional aspects of the epidermis. Research has shown that SPRR2A plays a significant role in keratinocyte differentiation and skin barrier function. Its expression is notably upregulated during wound healing and in response to various skin stressors, indicating its potential role in inflammatory responses and tissue repair. Additionally, SPRR2A has been linked to various dermatological conditions, suggesting it may be a crucial biomarker or therapeutic target for skin diseases. The recombinant expression of SPRR2A allows for detailed studies of its functional properties and interactions at a molecular level, facilitating better understanding of its physiological and pathological roles. By utilizing techniques such as recombinant DNA technology and protein purification, researchers aim to elucidate the mechanisms through which SPRR2A contributes to skin health and disease, paving the way for innovative therapeutic strategies that harness its biological functions.
