Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NUAK2 (NAMP-activated protein kinase 2) is a member of the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) family, playing a crucial role in cellular energy homeostasis, metabolism, and growth regulation. Recent studies have highlighted its significant involvement in various physiological processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and differentiation, positioning NUAK2 as a key player in cancer biology. Elevated expression levels of NUAK2 have been associated with poor prognosis in multiple cancer types, indicating its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, NUAK2 is implicated in regulating the actin cytoskeleton and facilitating cell motility, making it relevant in the field of metastasis research. Given its dual role in both metabolic regulation and tumor progression, researchers are actively investigating NUAK2’s signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms to gain insights into its functional roles. The production of NUAK2 recombinant protein is essential for these studies, allowing scientists to explore its enzymatic activity, interaction with other proteins, and effects on cellular processes in a controlled laboratory setting. Through the generation of NUAK2 recombinants, researchers aim to unravel the complexities of this kinase’s function and its implications in disease, potentially leading to innovative therapeutic strategies targeting NUAK2 in cancer and metabolic disorders. Understanding NUAK2's diverse roles could pave the way for new insights into tumor biology and the development of effective interventions.
