Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NSD1 (Nuclear Receptor-Binding SET Domain Protein 1) is a member of the SET domain protein family, playing a crucial role in chromatin remodeling and gene expression regulation. Mutations and dysregulation of NSD1 have been linked to various developmental disorders, including Sotos syndrome and certain cancers, underscoring its significance in cellular processes. Given its involvement in histone methylation and interaction with transcription factors, NSD1 is a key player in epigenetic regulation. The study of recombinant NSD1 protein allows researchers to explore its biochemical properties, molecular interactions, and functional mechanisms in greater detail. By producing NSD1 in a controlled laboratory setting, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity, binding affinities, and effects on target genes, which are critical for understanding its role in normal physiology and pathology. Furthermore, recombinant NSD1 protein serves as a valuable tool for drug discovery and therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating its activity. Overall, the research on NSD1 and its recombinant forms is vital for elucidating its contributions to genomic stability, development, and disease.
