Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The research on gABRe recombinant protein stems from the recognition of its pivotal role in various biological processes, particularly in the regulation of cellular signaling pathways and gene expression. gABRe, or gamma-aminobutyric acid receptor epsilon, is a subunit of GABA receptors, which are critical for mediating inhibitory neurotransmission in the central nervous system. This protein is involved in the modulation of synaptic transmission and is linked to several neurological disorders, including epilepsy, anxiety, and depression. Understanding the structure and function of gABRe at the molecular level can provide insights into its role in these conditions. Researchers have focused on producing recombinant gABRe proteins to facilitate studies on its pharmacological properties, interaction with other proteins, and impact on neuronal activity. By leveraging techniques such as molecular cloning and expressed protein production in heterologous systems, scientists aim to elucidate the protein's functional characteristics, explore its potential as a therapeutic target, and develop novel compounds that could modify its activity. The advancement of this research could lead to significant breakthroughs in treating various psychiatric and neurological disorders, highlighting the importance of gABRe as a focus of molecular biomedical research.
