Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SERPINB8, also known as the ovalbumin serpin, is a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) family, which plays critical roles in various physiological processes, including inflammation, immune response, and cancer progression. Research on SERPINB8 has gained attention due to its potential involvement in tumor biology, particularly in the regulation of apoptosis and cellular growth. Studies have shown that SERPINB8 can inhibit specific serine proteases, thereby modulating pathways that are crucial for cell survival and proliferation. Furthermore, its expression levels have been correlated with different cancer types, suggesting a potential role as a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis. The recombinant form of SERPINB8 is being investigated for its therapeutic applications, including in engineered proteins designed to enhance immune responses or as a target for novel cancer treatments. Characterizing SERPINB8's structure and function through recombinant protein production allows for a better understanding of its mechanisms and interactions within cellular environments, paving the way for potential interventions in SERPINB8-related diseases. As interest in SERPINB8 continues to grow, research is focused not only on its biological roles but also on its capacity to be manipulated for clinical benefits, making it a promising candidate for future therapeutic developments.
