  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ELMO3 (Engulfment and Cell Motility 3) is a member of the ELMO family of proteins, which are implicated in several cellular processes, including cell migration, phagocytosis, and cytoskeletal remodeling. Research into ELMO3 has gained momentum due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes such as neuronal development, immune response, and cancer progression. ELMO3 functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for the small GTPase Rac1, thereby regulating actin dynamics and influencing cell movement and morphology. Abnormal expression or dysfunction of ELMO3 has been linked to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and malignancies, making it a potential biomarker and therapeutic target. The study of recombinant ELMO3 protein is crucial for elucidating its structure-function relationships and understanding its role in cellular signaling pathways. Furthermore, insights gained from ELMO3 research may contribute to the development of novel treatment strategies for diseases characterized by impaired cell motility or abnormal apoptosis. As such, recombinant ELMO3 protein serves as an important tool for both basic research and therapeutic development, underscoring the need for comprehensive investigations into its functional mechanisms and potential applications in medicine.
