Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AMPD3, or adenosine monophosphate deaminase 3, is an important enzyme involved in the salvage pathway of purine metabolism, specifically in the conversion of AMP to IMP (inosine monophosphate). This enzyme facilitates the recycling of adenine nucleotides, thus playing a crucial role in cellular energy homeostasis and the regulation of various metabolic processes. Research into AMPD3 has gained traction due to its implications in muscle physiology, where it is predominantly expressed and is believed to be involved in physiological responses during exercise and muscle fatigue. Additionally, aberrations in AMPD3 activity have been linked to various metabolic disorders, including myopathies and cardiovascular conditions. As such, the development and characterization of recombinant AMPD3 proteins hold significant potential for elucidating its biochemical mechanisms and functional roles, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target. Furthermore, recombinant proteins are invaluable tools in studying enzyme kinetics, inhibitor screening, and structural biology. Understanding the structure-function relationship of AMPD3 can pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies to mitigate the effects of diseases linked to purine metabolism and muscle dysfunction. Thus, ongoing investigations into AMPD3 not only advance our knowledge of purine metabolism but also open new avenues for clinical applications in metabolic health.
