Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
AP1G2 (adaptor protein complex 1, gamma 2) is a crucial component of the clathrin-associated adaptor protein complex 1 (AP-1), which plays a vital role in intracellular trafficking and sorting of membrane proteins. This protein is involved in the endocytic pathway, facilitating the transport of proteins and lipids from the trans-Golgi network to lysosomes, and is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research on AP1G2 has gained prominence due to its implications in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cellular communication, and the regulation of gene expression. Abnormalities in the function or expression of AP1G2 have been linked to a variety of diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and certain genetic syndromes. Understanding the structure and function of AP1G2 through recombinant protein studies can provide insights into its role in these pathological conditions and may offer potential therapeutic targets. Additionally, the generation of AP1G2 recombinant proteins allows for detailed biochemical studies, enabling researchers to dissect the molecular mechanisms underlying its activities and interactions with other cellular components. Overall, the study of AP1G2 and its recombinant forms represents a significant area of research that can enhance our understanding of fundamental cellular processes and their implications in health and disease.
