Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DCLK2, also known as Doublecortin-like kinase 2, is a member of the doublecortin family of proteins, which are critical for neuronal development and functioning. Research into DCLK2 has gained traction due to its implicated role in neurogenesis and neurodevelopmental disorders. As a serine/threonine kinase, DCLK2 is believed to participate in various signaling pathways that regulate cellular processes such as differentiation, migration, and growth. Moreover, its expression has been associated with several pathological conditions, including cancer, where it may influence tumor growth and metastasis. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying DCLK2 function is vital, as it could unveil potential therapeutic targets for neurodegenerative diseases and cancers. Since its discovery, studies have focused on elucidating DCLK2's structure, enzymatic activity, and interaction partners, positioning it as a promising candidate for further investigation in both basic and translational research. The exploration of DCLK2's role in cellular signaling pathways holds significant promise for advancing our knowledge of neurodevelopmental processes and their disruptions in disease states.
