Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100Z is a member of the S100 protein family, characterized by its ability to bind calcium ions and participate in various cellular processes. Research on S100Z has gained attention due to its potential roles in physiological and pathological conditions. It is expressed in various tissues and has been implicated in the regulation of cellular activities such as cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. In particular, S100Z has been associated with cancer progression and metastasis, making it a candidate for cancer biomarker studies. The protein's involvement in neurodegenerative diseases has also been investigated, with findings suggesting a link to neuroinflammation and neuronal survival. The recombinant expression and purification of S100Z are vital for understanding its structure-function relationship and developing therapeutic strategies. By studying its molecular mechanisms, researchers aim to uncover its potential as a therapeutic target or diagnostic marker in various diseases, thus highlighting the importance of S100Z in biomedical research and its implications for future clinical applications.
